Lead actor and producer of the film, Pete Freeland, admits, ?Spencer died doing what he loved and was able to achieve one of his dreams before passing, not to mention he's leaving behind a legacy. The online synopsis of ?Justice on the Border? states, ?It?s a story of the action-packed mission to rescue a Latina army ranger (played by Vanessa Herrera) who is abducted by a Mexican drug lord (Neto DePaula). The study included a Web survey of 290 smartphone owners between the ages of 15-54 who self-identified as ?casual gamers,? with nearly half labeling themselves ?game enthusiasts.? More than two-thirds said they expect to be gaming even more over the next few years.
Who are the New Gamers?
The study found that the stereotype of the reclusive gamer is outdated; this emerging demographic is social, heavily engaged with the ?offline? world, and extremely goal-oriented ? with a strong drive to improve themselves and the world around them. The new gamers are not constrained to any single platform, and have many different motivations for gaming in addition to just having fun [See ?New Gamers ? Infographic?]. Moreover, they expect that online games will continue to move out of the traditional screen environment, blending seamlessly with the ?offline? world in new and engaging ways that go beyond just ?checking in? with apps like Foursquare and SCVNGR.

A delegation headed by the chairman of the Thailand Tourism Authority (TAT), Khun Vichai Srikwan, and governor Khun Suraphon Svetasreni has returned from a six-day visit to Hawaii with high expectations of many more Hawaiian golfers visiting the Kingdom.
"Hawaiians have previously mostly gone to the US mainland to play golf away from home, but Thailand is a big attraction," says Mark Siegel, president of Golf in a Kingdom - The Thailand Golf Experience (http://ping.fm/MSt1q), a co-operative marketing program comprising golf courses, hotels and resorts in Thailand's four major golf destinations - Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, Pattaya and Chiang Mai.
The 10-person delegation's visit to Hawaii was organised by businessman and Oahu Country Club member, Randy Ho. The club hosted two tournaments for the visitors and local players, while a presentation night for 130 travel agents and tour operators provided an insight into the delights of playing golf in Thailand.
Mark Siegel said it was the most productive marketing trip he had experienced. "We were able to raise the knowledge and awareness of Hawaiian golfers about playing in Thailand," he said. "The quality of the courses, food, entertainment and value for money make Thailand unique. A seven-nights package with four rounds of golf is about half the price of most other golf destinations."
"It was a very successful trip," said TAT's America's region director, Khun Santi Chudintra. "As a peer marketing exercise it was exactly the right approach and enabled us to talk directly with our target market. As an alternative to the US mainland, Thailand has much to offer - 260 courses and many other attractions."

The problem, according to Dr. Donald Kirkendall, a member of FIFA?s Medical Assessment and Research Centre, is that the soccer community has long viewed supplemental strength training with skepticism, evidenced by coaches? denying players training benefits that are proven to improve physical performance and prevent injury.
Kirkendall, author of the forthcoming "Soccer Anatomy" (Human Kinetics, September 2011), believes that most soccer players have a negative attitude toward strength training because it is done in a weight room and does not involve the ball. He addresses these issues in the book, offering exercises that can be done on the field during routine training, some even involving the ball. The benefits can prove immense. ?When developed properly, increased strength will allow players to run faster, resist challenges, be stronger in the tackle, jump higher, resist fatigue, and prevent injury,? Kirkendall says.
Resistance to strength training is especially prevalent in the United States because, Kirkendall argues, the never-ending exposure to soccer is not as evident in American culture as it is in other countries, where families, neighbors, and friends play the game whenever they can. ?An American child does not possess the beginnings of a skill set obtained from free play with family and friends,? he says. ?The coach may well be the only exposure to the game, requiring almost all coaching to be focused on the ball, which may neglect some basic motor skills and supplementary aspects of fitness.?
A regular program that uses systematic progression, such as a program developed with the exercises found in "Soccer Anatomy," will help players improve aspects of fitness important for competitive play, the kind of aspects not addressed in traditional ball-oriented training. Kirkendall warns, ?Players who neglect the strength element of training but want to move up to the next level will be in for a shock when they discover how far behind they are and realize just how much catching up is necessary.?

Creating a new indoor soccer option for the Memphis area meant first installing a superior, safe, long lasting, and low-maintenance turf system.
While we found there are numerous turf system providers, we also found that most are either unresponsive or technically insufficient. Perhaps our one indoor field was not the top priority for the suppliers who are in search of the next outdoor super complex. However, our one field was our priority at the time, and we know that it could ultimately lead to more both indoor and outdoor fields which are in our long term plans. This means that developing a relationship with our turf supplier was important. Our turf system was a large investment that would stick with our field for many years.
After speaking with several different suppliers and visiting fields around the region, we were left wanting something better. I was referred to Alex Chan of FES-Surfacing, an Edel Grass representative. Alex took the time to explain the turf industry from an outsider's perspective and question us on our objectives and desires. He neither employed pressure sales tactics nor criticized the others in the game. Rather, he educated us on turf system options and attempted to match our needs with some options.
Alex made multiple trips to our field location and took a hands-on approach to the estimating process ensuring that all installation related questions were answered and technical aspects covered. He did not assume that we were turf experts, and continued to stay in touch to make sure we were comfortable with the estimating process. He gave us multiple different mockup system turf samples, which allowed us to touch and see, so that we could better visualize and get a feel for the surface in action. He also clearly defined the pros and cons of each system. It was then when we saw what we wanted.
After spending too much time chasing other suppliers ultimately to find that most of them were uninformed about their product and/or unable to provide references or prove results, Alex's methods of relationship building were more in line with GreenField's business model. We are now proud owners of an optimal turf system (FES System 40 using Edel Grass? FutureDS) and as players ourselves, we are able to experience for ourselves the joy of playing on a quality system.

This free mobile app, from the organization that assigns age and content ratings for computer and video games, allows easy access to video game ratings and detailed rating summaries. For parents, it?s as simple as snapping a photo or typing the name of a game to quickly determine if it is right for their family.
?Summertime can mean video game time for many families, whether playing in the car, on the plane or in the living room. But just like movies, not all games are appropriate for every child,? says ESRB president Patricia Vance. ?So before buying a video game for a child it?s important to check the game?s rating and understand its content to determine if it?s the right choice. Today we added our ESRB app to Windows Marketplace, further expanding parents? access to a game?s rating or rating summary, anytime, anywhere.?
The ESRB mobile app offers easy access to ESRB rating information for over 20,000 titles by either taking a photo of the game box or typing in the name of the game. Rating summaries, which are not displayed on game boxes like the ESRB ratings and content descriptors, provide parents with a detailed, straight-forward explanation ? including specific examples ? of the content that factored into a game?s rating. The ESRB app is a great way to put this information in parents? hands right from the video game store, where it is often needed most. Rating summaries are available for games rated since July 1, 2008, which means that most of the games on kids? wish lists will have rating summaries.

Since their inception in 1994, the ESRB ratings have become a trusted resource for parents when choosing computer and video games. According to the latest research conducted by Peter D. Hart Research Associates and commissioned by the ESRB, 85% of parents with children that play video games are aware of the ESRB ratings, two-thirds use them regularly, and over three quarters consider the rating system ?very helpful? in allowing them to choose games for their children.

But just like movies, not all games are appropriate for every child,? says ESRB president Patricia Vance. ?So before buying a video game for a child it?s important to check the game?s rating and understand its content to determine if it?s the right choice. Today we added our ESRB app to Windows Marketplace, further expanding parents? access to a game?s rating or rating summary, anytime, anywhere.?
The ESRB mobile app offers easy access to ESRB rating information for over 20,000 titles by either taking a photo of the game box or typing in the name of the game. Rating summaries, which are not displayed on game boxes like the ESRB ratings and content descriptors, provide parents with a detailed, straight-forward explanation ? including specific examples ? of the content that factored into a game?s rating. The ESRB app is a great way to put this information in parents? hands right from the video game store, where it is often needed most. Rating summaries are available for games rated since July 1, 2008, which means that most of the games on kids? wish lists will have rating summaries.

Since their inception in 1994, the ESRB ratings have become a trusted resource for parents when choosing computer and video games. According to the latest research conducted by Peter D. Hart Research Associates and commissioned by the ESRB, 85% of parents with children that play video games are aware of the ESRB ratings, two-thirds use them regularly, and over three quarters consider the rating system ?very helpful? in allowing them to choose games for their children.

Properties like being addictive, providing fun, and offering social validation are imprecise?in marked contrast to the myriad technical and software elements that go into creating a game. That makes game development an active area of research both for game development companies and academics, Verbrugge and Kruszewski say.
?The guest editors have done an impressive job of compiling articles that cover a gamut of issues related to the engineering underpinnings of an incredibly vibrant and economically successful domain,? said Forrest Shull, editor in chief of IEEE Software and a division director at the Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering in Maryland.
The issue includes an extensive interview that Shull conducted with Ed Beach, who led the artificial intelligence programming on the latest version of Civilization by Firaxis Games, helmed by Director of Creative Development Sid Meier. This flagship strategy game series has sold more than 9 million copies worldwide.
?Most of the engineering principles that help you develop quality software in a more traditional setting still apply here in the game industry,? said Beach, who before joining Firaxis developed software for NASA and the wireless industry. ?In fact, I?d say that software development for the game industry is fundamentally the same as a traditional project?with the major caveat that your requirements are significantly more fluid than normal.?
Testers play a big role in determining the game?s final version. In a technique pioneered by Meier, parts of a game are also quickly eliminated if testers find them tedious.
?We find out what?s fun and build around those elements,? said Beach. ?It?s a proven method for developing great games. But it means that you have to design the software to accommodate nearly constant change.?

Receiving over thousands of hits and hundreds of dollars, the website is off to a phenomenal start.
The concept of the website is simple. To be a part of internet history, you can pay to take the spot at any time; once the spot is taken you will keep the spot till someone pays to take it from you. After your place is taken, your link moves to the ‘previous owner’s list’ where it stays secure for the lifetime of the site. The spot holder merely represents the newest link in the group of links. As time proceeds, the price of the spot will keep increasing as there are only a certain amount of times the spot will turnover till it becomes locked forever, which one else knows except the creator. Once the spot closes, the website will form an interesting array of websites, which will form a time capsule.
We had the pleasure to interview Mr. Naik and asked him to tell us more about his inspiration for the creation of this idea, “I wanted to create a source of advertising that thought of the people first, and not only focusing on my personal gains. Sites that are simply made to copy the success of Alex Tew do not work because people know that it does not benefit the investor, but only the site owner and they are smart enough to see that. It was about time advertisers found a website that could first and foremost benefit them. I took examples of many successful business models along with popular websites and analyzed their success, I found a formula that not only worked, but enhanced it so that it would benefit the advertisers even more. I wanted to create the most cost effective way to advertise on the Internet, and this is what I have come up with. Most sites out there are only made for personal benefit, so I turned the focus around to you, the buyer/advertiser.
